Section IV.1: Callups from higher level OT/MOT teams
Previous Rules
OT teams could call up players from any higher division (outside of OT1).
i.e., OT2 players could be called up to OT7 teams.
There were no restrictions on the number of players that could be called up from higher level divisions per game.
i.e., OT teams could call up up to 4 players from higher level teams per game, and MOT teams could callup a maximum of 6 players from higher level divisions per game
New Rules
- A player registered to an OT or MOT team that is more than 2 divisions above the division of the game that is being played is ineligible (i.e., an OT2 registered played cannot be called up to a team in OT5, OT6 or OT7)
- For both OT and MOT, a team may call up a maximum of 3 higher level players (any additional callups must come from lower divisions)
- A team using higher OT division players are limited to 15 players on the gamesheet for that game
- A team using higher MOT division players are limited to 16 players on the gamesheet for that game
We strongly encourage all Oldtimers and Masters team officials to review our Callup Rules Overview document . We understand there is a lot of information, so if they need clarification or wish to discuss further please have them reach out
