Female Program Lead


Location: Club de Soccer des Collines operates in the municipalities of Cantley, Chelsea, Val-des-Monts and La Pêche.
Type: Part-time (20-25 hours per week)
Salary: $25-$30/hour, depending on experience

About the role:
Soccer des Collines is introducing this new leadership position to strengthen, grow, and unify our female soccer program. The Female Program Lead will provide dedicated guidance, consistent development pathways, and strategic oversight to create a positive, inclusive environment where every female player can reach her potential.
The Female Program Lead U4–U12 oversees the development, organization, and quality of the club’s girls’ programs from grassroots through pre-competitive levels. Working closely with the Technical Director, they ensure a safe, engaging learning environment tailored to young girls, promoting participation and retention within the club.

Key Responsibilities
Program Development
● Plan, coordinate, and supervise soccer activities for girls’ U4–U12 (training, games, festivals, events).
● Design and oversee a long-term female player development plan aligned with club pedagogy and Soccer Québec standards.
● Establish seasonal objectives and development benchmarks across age groups.
● Lead player evaluation processes and support retention strategies.
● Actively contribute to the development and structuring of the women’s LDIR teams.
● Ensure consistent monitoring of player progression across the different levels (CDC 1, CDC 3, and competitive LDIR).
● Work closely with the technical staff to ensure consistency in training approaches, session content, and playing identity.

Coach Development & Leadership
● Recruit, support, and mentor coaches, assistants, and volunteers involved in the girls’ program.
● Facilitate coach workshops and share session planning resources.

Community & Culture Building
● Work collaboratively with the Sporting Director (General Manager) and club leadership to design and implement initiatives that strengthen the female program culture.

Strategic Contribution
● The head of the women’s program will report directly to the Sporting Director and will work closely with the Board of Directors, the women’s program subcommittee, and the technical staff.

Schedule & Work Environment
● Remote work plus required on-field presence at club facilities
● Flexible weekly schedule (20-25 hours)
● Availability required for evenings and weekends

Desired Skills & Qualifications
● Significant experience coaching girls’ soccer or leading youth development programs
● Knowledge of age-appropriate pedagogy (U4–U12)
● Strong leadership and team management skills
● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
● Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
● Proficiency with digital tools
● Bilingualism (French required; English an asset)

Assets and/or a desire to reach this certification/training:
● Soccer certification (C Licence or equivalent);
● Knowledge of Long-Term Player Development (LTPD)
● Training in gender-equity in sports.
